ALWAYS was established in 2013 as a response to the consequences young people often face when physical violence, sexual assault and exploitation, homelessness, or family separation enter their lives. All too often Arizona’s young people lack the resources needed to overcome life’s challenges. While organizations have long existed to help vulnerable young people meet their housing, education, and basic needs, there were no organizations devoted to providing the legal assistance frequently needed to move from survival to stability. Now ALWAYS is hard at work seeking justice for – and with – vulnerable young people every day.
